- Customer presented with concern of coolant leakage. Technician performed cooling system pressure test and confirmed multiple leak points within the cooling system. Customer authorized removal and replacement of the following components: • Water pump • Water pump gasket • Expansion tank hoses • Upper intake manifold gasket • Lower intake manifold gasket • Thermostat • Coolant crossover pipe All components were removed and replaced per manufacturer specifications. Cooling System Service Performed • Cooling system flushed using active cleaning agents • System refilled with manufacturer-specified coolant mixture • Cooling system properly bled to remove air pockets Technician performed post-repair cooling system pressure test — no leaks detected. Post-Repair Verification • Engine started and brought to operating temperature • Thermostat opening verified • Cooling fans engaged at manufacturer-specified temperatures • No overheating observed • No coolant leaks detected Vehicle was road tested approximately 3 miles at freeway speeds to ensure full operating temperature and system stability. Engine maintained proper temperature range during test drive. Vehicle returned to shop for secondary inspection. Cooling system rechecked — no leaks present.
